The biggest UK sandwich competition IS BACK!


Let your imagination and culinary flair go wild with next year’s British Sandwich & Food to Go Designer of the Year competition. After Emma’s Taylor big win this year with her “Prawn to be Wild” bao bun creation, we cannot wait what next year will unravel as we are bringing our MSC cooked & peeled coldwater prawns back to the competition

The British Sandwich & Food to Go Designer of the Year competition is THE event the food-to-go industry look forward to each year. Hundred of professionals coming from a wide range of backgrounds from NPD, sandwich manufacturers, chefs, café owners take on the challenge to be the crowned Designer of the Year.

All entries go through a rigorous judging process with the main criteria being, taste, presentation and commercial viability and innovative use of the sponsor’s product. However, the professional yet informal format makes this competition truly enjoyable … with a chance to meet prestigious chef Theo Randall at the final stage.

So why not give it a go this year? You can enter as many categories as you wish and this year they are: MSC cooked&peeled coldwater prawns, Shredded Chicken, Sage&Onion Tortilla and Pre Cooked Bacon.
