Let her unwind while you whip up luxurious and easy seafood meals.

Mother's Day, or Mothering Sunday in the UK and Ireland, is a day to show love, gratitude, and appreciation to all wonderful mums everywhere, through acts of kindness and the giving of Mother's Day gifts and flowers. Mother's Day celebrations date back as far as the ancient Greeks when they would celebrate Rhea, the Mother of the Gods and Goddesses, every spring with festivals of worship. The Romans also celebrated a mother Goddess, Cybele, every March as far back as 250BC.

Cod from Greenland has a naturally white meat with a deliciously delicate flavour, due to the cold, clean environment in which it lives. The cod quality relies on two factors: its origin and processing. The Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) is one of the most well-known fish around the world. The customized processing of our Nutaaq™cod ensures a fresher, brighter and tastier product.

Seafood is a way to elevate your dishes and mark the occasion with our recipes. Whether you’re planning the ultimate three-course meal, rustling up breakfast in bed, or whipping up a sweet treat, we’ve got the ideal guide for you.

Start with breakfast in bed with our high protein, savoury mini prawn pancakes to boost her day and prepare her taste buds for the delightful treats ahead.

Some general tips for cooking cod include:

• Cook it slowly at low heat for a moist and consistent texture all over
• Use strong heat for a firmer texture, but be careful of the afterheat to avoid overcooking the delicate fish
• Always cook from frozen when using frozen breaded or battered cod. Pay extra attention to the temperature and avoid ending up with burnt batter and raw fish.
